\r\n大型力學實驗室(Large-Scale Structure Testing Lab.)為挑高26公尺的廠房建築，設有3000噸油壓試驗機、250噸動態試驗機、300噸試驗機以及強力地板與反力牆系統，可進行大尺寸建築構材及耐震性能元件(如挫屈束制支撐)之實驗研究及檢測服務，以配合建築物地震災害防治科技計畫，提供主管機關修訂法規、標準之參據，並支援建築業界有關建築新工法、新技術及新設備之研發、檢測及認證需求。

The Large-Scale Structure Testing Lab (LSSTL) is a 26-meter tall factory-designed structure equipped with a 3,000 MT Hydraulic Testing System, a 250 MT Dynamic Hydraulic Testing System, a 300 MT Universal Material Testing System, and an L Type Reaction Wall and Strong Floor Testing System. In this laboratory, experimental research and testing services relating to large-scale construction materials (such as Buckling Restrained Braces) and earthquake-resistant components are available. Cooperating with the science and technology programs for earthquake disaster prevention for buildings, results and data will be provided to the authorities for revising national codes and standards. The demand for research-and-development, testing services, and certification of new engineering methods, facilities, and devices for the building industry can be supported.
